Tree surgeon
Felling, crown reduction, pruning, and removal of dead or dangerous trees.
About tree surgeon
Tree surgeons handle work that's beyond what's safe to do from a ladder — felling whole trees, crown reductions, dead-wooding, removal of dangerous limbs, and stump grinding. The work is regulated and tree surgeons should be insured for falling-debris risk and have the right qualifications (CS30/31/38). TPO (tree preservation order) checks are part of the process.
When you might need this
- A tree is leaning, dropping limbs, or has died
- A tree is too close to a property and needs reducing
- Storm damage has left limbs unstable
- You're felling a large tree and need it done safely
